so i was so excited to log onto one of my favourite blogs today to see that not only did they give a shout out to sloan, but that sloan is the free download of the week on canadian itunes! for those of you who don't yet use (and understand the subsequent awesomeness of) itunes, this single is worth the download in itself. not that this song of jay's is particularily more awesome than any other song of theirs...but it's free sloan, which is suh-weeeeet!
and in other music news, i love gnarls barkley. the video for their new single, smiley faces is also on stereogum. that song has been on repeat on my ipod for a couple of weeks now - and it is the only thing i like hearing at 6:50 in the morning as i trudge to work.
speaking of work: the hospital is teeming with cute construction boys. it's really hard for me to get work done. well, not really. but there was one especially cute one today who had the sweetest little smile. sigh. i really do have a crush on every boy. well, not every boy. yes, definitely not every boy....but most.

i can't believe everyone has their panties in a twist about how i don't like father clifford, and no one has commented ON THE FREE SLOAN SONG!

How do I get the free Sloan song? I went onto the Music library on my itunes and it had 2 other artists for free. Am I going to the wrong thing?
