afternoons....

i went to see matt mays and el torpedo last night, and as usual they put on a rockin' show. not only did they play a long set of their own songs, they came back for a 2nd encore (saskatoon loves the matt mays) and played bruce springsteen's 'born to run'. it was dope.

after the show my friends and i headed to the roxy, (formerly the wash n' slosh, where one could do laundry and get d-runk) met some of the band and listened to the cover band playing bastardize rage against the machine's 'killing in the name of'. oh well.
