i love peter bjorn and john.
'young folks' - the song that got it all started for me is the free single of the week on itunes. go download it. it's free. it's awesome.
oh, and what's that? they also do a SITAR verson of 'young folks' on the album you say? yes ky, you read that right. so by default, peter bjorn and john are your new favourite band.
and did i also mention that i bought albert hammond jr's solo record, 'yours to keep'? it's really good. kind of like the strokes meets a singer who doesn't sound like he smokes 50 packs of cigs a day/sings through his nose/into a tube/while wearing last weeks underwear. (sidenote - i still like the strokes, but julian needs to quit smoking/quit singing through his nose/into a tube/and needs to shower. and wear clean underwear.)
