bees

i was pondering tonight about how there are no spelling bees for adults. sure, adults are supposed to be smarter than your average grade 7 or 8 student who are in those super hard spelling bees now, but adults still want to prove their skillz. i mean, those words that those teens are spelling are dang hard - could you imagine the ones that adults would have to spell? and at the rate words are being produced these days, it would be impossible to study for a task such as this. i mean, i think 'bling-bling' and 'crunk' are in the dictionary now...hence i would be the master of the adult spelling bee.

in fact, i think adults should be privy to alot of things kids are. i think there should be four-square outside office buildings, milk sold at lunch hour (at a smooth price of 25 cents) and the option for people over ten to get those dinosaur shaped chicken fingers at restaurants.

and speaking of milk sold at lunch, i miss beep. i love that juice. i heard a nasty rumour that you can still buy it at safeway. if the person who told me that is lying, and i go to buy it and it's not there...well, let's just say it won't be pretty.

  • Beep sold at Safeway? No way! I miss me some Vi-Co, and I'm pretty sure that's not sold anywhere anymore.

(At which point anyone not from Saskatchewan thinks we're speaking another language.)

I love how you really can order kids' meal type stuff at fast food restaurants, because who's to say that you're not buying it for your kid?

  • 25 cents for milk is a real smooth price.
